What you're joining
Based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, working with clients across healthcare, life sciences and growing businesses.
Claude and agentic development are how we work every day, from the first prototype to the production release.
You'll work with clients directly, in their teams and on their sites, and see the people who use what you build.
Small teams and real responsibility. You'll take work from brief to release, with senior support when you need it.

Orchestrator
Senior AI Developer
Location
Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire
Working
In the office at least 3 days a week, with some remote flexibility
Salary
From £60,000
Our most senior technical role. You’ll lead the delivery of complex software with our clients, make sure we build the right things in the right way, and turn what works into patterns the whole team can reuse. It’s built to grow into senior technical or team leadership as Vita grows.
What you'll do
- Lead the build of complex software, from working prototype to production
- Make sure we build the right things in the right way, cutting wish lists down to what matters
- Represent Vita with clients, working inside their teams
- Turn what works into reusable patterns, tools and standards
- Own our testing process, from independent testing to client UAT
What you'll Bring
- Typically around seven years’ professional software engineering experience, including at senior level
- Deep engineering fundamentals, made faster by AI coding agents
- Confidence working directly with clients
- Experience mentoring or leading developers is a plus, not essential
Builder
Junior AI Developer

In the office 4 to 5 days a week, with time on client sites
Salary
From £27,000
An AI-native junior developer who wants to build real software, not vibe code. You’ll use AI agents on client projects alongside our senior team, grow into owning smaller projects end to end, and travel with the team to client sites. Up to a couple of years’ experience, and you don’t need to be a graduate.
What you'll do
- Build software and AI systems with Claude and other agentic tools every day
- Grow into owning smaller projects end to end, from brief to release with the client
- Work on client sites alongside the team
- Learn fast, with courses and certifications paid for
What you'll Bring
- Software you've built and deployed, that people used and you kept improving
- Up to a couple of years' experience; a degree isn't required
- Real curiosity about AI-native development
- Happy to be in the Ashby office 4 to 5 days a week
